Your ears may still be ringing from 4th of July fireworks, but Amy Grant is already making plans for Christmas. She and her husband Vince Gill have just announced their Twelve Days of Christmas Tour that will kick off December 8 in Florida and conclude with two shows at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

While millions enjoy her classic yuletide hits this holiday season (now available on THE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION), Amy Grant is also talking about her two-disc twentieth anniversary reissue of LEAD ME ON in Performing Songwriter magazine’s December 2008 cover story.
Grant says the concert tracks she rediscovered for the expanded LEAD ME ON release had a “frenzied, manic energy” that “reminded me of an earlier version of myself, before I had lived so much (and) gotten a little tired.” After that, Amy says she “started writing new material like there was no tomorrow.”
